Working with an international crew, I leveraged my trilingual skills and bicultural background to integrate and harmonize the team on set. The production involved highly diverse and challenging locations, from remote outdoor sites to densely populated urban areas with limited or sensitive access.
Variable weather conditions and the complexity of weaving together four parallel storylines demanded rigorous scheduling and on-set coordination.
As 1st AD, meticulous planning and adaptability were key. I handled frequent last-minute changes with quick, effective solutions, coordinated the casting of supporting actors and extras, and secured several filming locations alongside my team.
The project required extensive collaboration with local communities to gain access and ensure respectful integration into their environment. We worked closely with non-professional actors, adapting the shooting process to their natural performances.
